We are looking for someone who...

  • Is a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Is creative with content and story-telling on social media

  • Has a good eye for design/image and can work some magic for Insta posts

  • Is savvy with phone video editing for those catchy reels and videos

  • Is familiar with/uses all social media channels

  • Has a good knack for back-end data insights and data (e.g. FB Dashboard)

  • Can keep a close eye on, and contribute to, conversations across multiple platforms

  • Can spot opportunities for story-telling and cross-sharing content with collaborators


It would be great if you...

  • Have experience with, or understanding/love of education – in all its forms

  • Possess a versatility to adapt to social media trends and strategy accordingly

  • Love/live in Wales, and had some Welsh-speaking ability (extra bonus points!)

  • An ability to turn stats/data/interactions into meaningful lessons for our comms strategy


Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a detailed 3-6 month thematic marketing calendar, tying social in with wider marketing, PR and comms activity for all stages of the audience journey

  • Content creation for newsletter and all social media channels

  • Targeted marketing and outreach to key customers – e.g. via webinars/Conversations

  • Community management across all social accounts; monitoring comments and messages and responding/alerting the appropriate person where necessary.

  • Identify opportunities, audiences, creative and budgets across social media advertising

  • Creation of live, interactive reports to track performance

  • Monthly meetings to share results and planning

  • Identify areas that need attention and areas with opportunities to grow


Time commitment: 1-1.5 days/week, possibly more if it works out… Would suit someone who likes a bit of side-hustle without the hassle of an office job...And who loves beautiful outdoor spaces to work in...(definitely one of the perks!)
